Forum Software Upgraded

I have installed a new version of the forum software for the Cumberland River Cruisers Forum.
There are many new features that the software has implemented. The best feature, that I think everyone will like, is the ability for users to upload their pictures and display them in their posts.
It is brand new software to me, so the setup may need some tweaking to get the maximum benefit from the upgrade.
If anyone has problems, send me an email with the description of the problem and I'll see if I can fix it.
I hope the members will start using it more and enjoy it's use.

If you haven't signed up, please do so and then give the Cumberland River Cruisers Forum a try.
Post something, maybe post a picture of what you're working on, or post something you want to buy or sell in the Swap Shop section.

January Club Meeting

Club president Phillip Davidson was in charge of the CRC club meeting and began by mentioning that Weldon Rowe resigned his position as vice president for personal reasons, but will continue as a club member. Nominations for the vice president's position were made and voted on by the membership. Dave Neff is now the vice president of the club. It was suggested that Julie Waits' duties be extended to include secretary and treasurer, voted on by the membership and confirmed. Nominations for president was opened without a nomination being made. Members asked Phillip to continue in his position as president and he accepted.

The date was confirmed for our next club meeting at 6 PM on February 25th with a FREE chili supper for all members attending at the Senior Citizens & Veteran's Building across from the Police Station on Upper River Street.

Please pay your CRC club membership dues no later than April 1st, 2010. The dues are $10 for renewal of a current membership and payments can be made to:

CRC Sec/Tres Julie Waits
964 Modoc Road
Burkesville, KY 42717

Club members will be able to buy new shirts this year for $5 for the original style club shirt or $7 for a club shirt with a pocket. New shirts may be ordered in several colors with a new small logo on the front of the shirt. As usual, larger sizes will cost slightly more, 2XL will increase the cost $1, 3XL will increase the costs by $2 and 4XL will cost $3 extra. So the highest priced shirt for members would be a 4XL with a pocket for $10, a deal you can't beat! The club is also planning on selling non-member shirts this year. Prices are $5 higher per shirt for non-members.

First & Farmers' Bank has agreed to let the CRC club use their parking lot FREE of CHARGE for swap meets each Saturday that we hold a cruise-in. The parking lot will be available for use from 2 PM to 6 PM the day of the cruise-ins.
