Unpaid Membership Fees Are Past Due

Cumberland River Cruiser membership dues have been paid by some members.

Club dues are ONLY $10 and were past due as of June 1st.
Please pay your dues, even if you're not active, it is a small membership fee and it will help keep the club operating until you're ready to participate again. If any member would like to pay their dues, please contact Julie Waits at phone # 270-433-5665.

New membership fees are $15 and new members will receive a CRC Club T-Shirt when they join.

June 5th 2010 Cruise-In

Saturday was hot and the sky was fairly clear when several of the CRC members arrived and began setting up the equipment for the June Cruise-In around 2:15 PM. Some people began arriving before the 3 PM start time and some didn't arrive till the cruise-in was nearly over. Members and their guests signed in and were awarded prizes during the afternoon. The new "Cruisin' the Square" t-shirts sold fast and a few of the colored CRC shirts were also purchased. By late afternoon the clouds were moving in and it looked like it could rain at any moment, so the 50/50 drawing was held a few minutes before 5 PM.
   
  
  
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
Nearly as soon as the prize money was handed to the winner, the rain began to fall. It was a light rain and it gave people a chance to roll up their car windows and put things away before they were soaked.

Celina Cruise-In

Jill Key contacted Julie Waits about a cruise-in at Celina, TN on Saturday June 26th from 3 to 7 PM. The cruise-in is to benefit the Celina Health and Rehab Activity Department and all vehicles are welcome. There will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, music and BBQ.

J&D Cruise-In

Several CRC club members attended the J&D Cruise-In at their restaurant on the south end of Burkesville. There was a nice turn out of cars, trucks and people listening to the band play music.
  
Jimmy had a real nice Chevelle parked out front of the restaurant and was talking to people about some of the things that had been done to the car.
 
There were old cars, race cars, trucks and restored vehicles of several vintages.
  

  
The J&D Restaurant was open and was serving supper specials to the customers attending the cruise-in.
