Cruise To Columbia
The Cruisers met in Burkesville and left town at 4 PM Saturday heading
North on SR 61 towards Columbia. As the group rolled along, other club
members joined the convoy of cars, trucks and motorcycles. The 11
vehicle caravan turned East onto the Cumberland Parkway and then exited
the junction with SR 55. We turned into the parking lot at Tractor
Supply Company and waited to be told where to park. After parking and
talking with others for a few minutes, most of the club members
registered. Some of the Cruisers were awarded door prizes, but some left
early as the temperatures were above 90 degrees and being on the parking
lot seemed to make it even hotter. There were some really nice vehicles
at the cruise-in and it looked like most of the people had fun.
The
next CRCrusier event will be the 4th of July Celebration in Burkesville.

June 30th Meeting
The CRC Club met Thursday at 6 PM in the Fire Training Building.
President Dave Neff and Vice President Phillip Davidson opened the
meeting, then Secretary Linda Norris read the minutes and gave a
treasurer's report.
Most
of the meeting time was used to prepare for the car show on Monday, July
4th. The door prizes and trophies were readied for presentation at the
car show after the meeting was concluded. One of the 100 Dash Plaques
was passed around for the members to check out.
Tropies
for the Top Twenty cars, a Long Distance Award, Club Participation and
Best of Show will be presented at the car show Monday July 4th.
