Rolling Rods' Cruise-In @ Dry Fork
The Cruisers left Burkesville and headed west on SR 90 towards Glasgow,
then turned south on KY 259 to Dry Fork, KY for the Rolling Rods Classic
Car 4th Annual Fall Cruise-In that started at 10 AM in Thomerson Park. 
There
was plenty of FREE FOOD, music, a swap meet, a 50/50 drawing and lots of
door prizes. 
Everyone
was welcome and they had lots of people that brought out their vehicles.

Cruiz'In On The Square
The guys from Albany had asked the Cruisers to come over to their
Cruiz'In On the Square event, so after we returned from Dry Fork,
several Cruisers made the trip to Clinton County and parked their rides
around the Court House Square.
They
had a DJ doing a lot of drawings for door prizes and they gave away some
T-shirts too.
I
think they told us they had over 100 registered vehicles by 6 PM and the
event was not over till 8 PM. You can see the pictures of the cars

August 25th Meeting
President Dave Neff called the meeting to order at 6 PM. Secretary Linda
Norris read the minutes of the previous meeting and told the bank
balances. Discussion was opened and several items were talked about by
the membership. A few of the things were the upcoming Cruise-In
at Alex Montgomery on October 1st, a possible car show for the
Events Committee on October 8th and where the club would cruise to in
September. The membership decided to buy trophies for each upcoming
event as needed. The meeting was adjourned slightly before 7 PM.
The
Cruisers decided we will be cruising to Russell
Springs on September 17th. Anyone wishing to go along with the
Cruisers should be at the Courthouse Square by 8:30 AM. Their cruise-in
REGISTRATION begins at 10 AM and is over at Noon. Dash plaques are
presented to the first 50 entries.
Some of the Cruisers will be
going to the 55th
Annual Fall Meet Antique Car Show in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee
September 10, 2011. The Cruisers plan on leaving the Courthouse Square
in Burkesville at 8:30 AM.
