Thanks For The Support
The Cumberland River Cruisers Car Club was sponsored this year by many
of the local merchants of Burkesville. Their help and support made it
possible for us to enjoy a successful first year.
In no particular

Club President Phillip Davidson presented a framed
"Thank You" certificate to a representative from each of the local

"Thank You" Article In Cumberland County News
The Cumberland County Newspaper ran an article for the club. The article
was at the top of page four of the paper that was published on December
9th, 2009. They ran a black and white 2009 club picture at the top of
the article. Below is what I had placed in the paper.

The Cumberland River Cruisers car club was formed earlier this year. The club conducted several cruise-ins that brought people to Burkesville during the year. Most of the cruise-ins were held on the Court House Square with the cars parked around the square. There were door prizes given away and music playing during the events. Visitors were allowed to walk through the cars, take pictures and speak to the owners as they pleased without charge.
The Cruisers have plans for several events in the upcoming year. Cruise-ins will be held on the first Saturday of the month between April and October on the Court House Square. We will also work with the Burkesville Chamber of Commerce, during the 4th of July celebrations, to have a large cruise-in at the park.
